Expedition 2 - Elisabethschächter Schlotte (The Alabaster Fleet)

Go with us to your physical limits and experience an adventurous expedition through the Mansfeld old mine and the natural formations of the South Harz gypsum karst. Wearing waders, you will get to know the water-filled Segen-Gottes-Stollen and the physically demanding Gonnaer Stollen. The destination of the hike is the Elisabethschächter Schlotte, considered one of the most impressive gypsum karst caves in Germany. Finally, we invite you to a traditional half-shift underground. The expedition will end with a rustic feast with a fat cream, coffee and schnapps.
Mine helmet, light and waders will be provided.
